Workshop Venue
The Workshop will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria. Situated in the western part of Bulgaria, Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, is over a million city located at 550m a.s.l. in the foothills of Vitosha Mountain,
which is more than 2000m high. The city, boasting a few thousand-year old remarkable historical background, attracts visitors from all over the world for its lively international atmosphere,
historical monuments and musiums, and excellent restaurants.
The talks will be given at the University of Sofia, located in the town centre. The Workshop will start on Thursday morning, 4th of October and will end on Saturday, 6th of October 2007.
Sofia Airport provides daily connections to all basic European airports and is located 10 km from the city centre. Detailed information on how to reach Sofia and on the transfer services provided by
the Workshop will be given in the second circular.
