Thank you very much for your acceptance to participate in the Twenty Ninth International Workshop on Nuclear Theory IWNT29-2010. On the web page of the Workshop you can see the list of colleagues who already confirmed their participation. We are expecting the few unsent abstracts of your talks till 15-th of May in order to collect them in a booklet and to organize the programme. Abstracts received after that date can not be included in the booklet.
Please find below the most important information about the Workshop:
Location
Rila Mountain is located about 70 km south from Sofia. It is the highest
massif on the Balkan Peninsula (Mt. Mussala 2925 m), a national park with
preserved nature.
Accomodation
The Workshop will take place in a two-star hotel in the Maljoviza region
of the Rila Mountain. Address:
Hotel "Divite Petli", 2020 Govedartzi, Sofia region, Bulgaria
Internet connection in the hotel is available.
Weather
The altitude in the Maljoviza region is about 1700 m above sea level.
In June one should expect mild and sunny days and cool nights.
Unfortunately rain is not excluded.
Visa
Formal letters of invitation to help with visa applications will be
sent upon request to the Organizing Committee at nthlrila@gmail.com.
Travel
We will be glad to assist you to organize your visit to Bulgaria. If you
inform us about your arrival, we will meet you at the Sofia airport. If you
arrive earlier or depart later than the days of travel to the conference cite,
please, let us know. We could help you with hotel reservation in Sofia if you
need one.
Transportation by bus from Sofia to Maljoviza is scheduled at 18h on Sunday,
20 June from the parking lot in front of the Pliska Hotel - Sofia,
"Tsarigradsko shausse" Blvd. 87. Return trip to Sofia will be organized on
Saturday morning, 26 June, starting at 9.30 a.m. from Hotel "Divite Petli".
Registration
A workshop fee of 380EUR (250EUR for students and accompanying persons),
which includes return trip from Sofia to the hotel, accommodation, 6 days
full board, social program and proceedings, should be paid cash in EUR upon
registration.
Scientific program
Sessions and discussions will be held mornings and afternoons from Monday 21
June, through Friday 25 June, excluding Thursday 24 June. We plan longer talks
45 min (including discussion) and shorter talks 25 min (including discussion).
Small corrections in the above lengths are possible in dependence on the
overall loading of the programme. The conference room is equipped with a
beamer and an overhead projector.
Proceedings
The Proceedings of the workshop will be published by the end of the year and
we will be expecting your contributions not later than the end of September
2010. Instructions for their preparation and submission will be given after
the Workshop.
