Dear colleagues,

Thank you very much for accepting the invitation to participate in the 25th International Workshop on Nuclear Theory. The Workshop will be held from Monday June 26 to Saturday July 1, 2006.

Location

The Workshop will take place in a ** star hotel in the Maljoviza region of the Rila Mountain. The address of the hotel is the following:

Rila Mountain is located about 70 km south from Sofia. It is the highest massif on the Balkan Peninsula (Mt. Mussala 2925 m), a national park with preserved nature.

Travel

Transportation by bus from Sofia to Maljoviza is scheduled for 17h on Sunday, June 25 from the parking lot in front of the Pliska Hotel - 87 Tzarigrad rd. Return trip to Sofia will be organized on Saturday morning, July 1.

Weather

The altitude in the Majoviza region is about 1700 m above sea level. In June, one should expect mild and sunny days and cool nights. Unfortunately rain is not excluded.

Visa

Formal letters of invitation to help with visa applications will be sent upon request to Dr. Dimitrova at sevdim@inrne.bas.bg.

Registration

A workshop fee of 300 EUR, which includes return trip from Sofia to the hotel, accommodation, 6 days full board, social program and proceedings, should be paid upon registration (only cash in EUR, please).

Scientific program

Sessions and discussions will be held mornings and afternoons from Monday June 26, through Friday June 30, excluding Thursday June 29. The duration of the talks will be 30 min (15 min for PhD students). The conference room is equipped with a beamer and an overhead projector.

Social program

An excursion to the Rila monastery or to the Rozhen monastery (precious monuments of the Bulgarian architecture) and a hiking tour are planned for Thursday, June 29.

We will be glad to assist you to organize your visit to Bulgaria. If you inform us about your arrival, we will meet you at the Sofia airport.
