Thank you very much for your interest in the 28th International Workshop on Nuclear Theory.
The Workshop will be held from Monday June 22 to Friday June 26, 2009. We are expecting till the 15th of May the few unsent
titles and abstracts of your talks in order to start organizing the programme, which will be send to you in our next announcement.
Rila Mountain is located about 70 km south from Sofia. It is the highest massif on the Balkan Peninsula (Mt. Mussala 2925 m), a national park with preserved nature.
The Workshop will take place in a ** star hotel in the Maljoviza region of the Rila Mountain.

Weather
The altitude in the Maljoviza region is about 1700 m above sea level.
In June one should expect mild and sunny days and cool nights.
Unfortunately rain is not excluded.

Travel
Transportation by bus from Sofia to Maljoviza is scheduled at 18h on Sunday, June 21 from the parking lot in front of the Pliska Hotel - Sofia, "Tsarigradsko shausse" Blvd. 87. Return trip to Sofia will be organized on Saturday morning, June 27, at 9.30 a.m.
Registration
A workshop fee of 350EUR (230EUR for students), which includes return trip from Sofia to the hotel, accommodation, 6 days full board, social program and proceedings, should be paid upon registration (only cash in EUR, please).
Scientific Program
Sessions and discussions will be held mornings and afternoons from Monday June 22, through Friday June 26, excluding Thursday June 25. The duration of the talks will be 45 min (20 min for PhD students). The conference room is equipped with a beamer and an overhead projector. Proceedings of the conference will be published by the end of the year and we will be expecting your contributions not later than the end of September 2009. Instructions for their preparation and submission will be given after the Workshop.
Social Program
An excursion to some historical or cultural Bulgarian site and a hiking tour are planned for Thursday, June 25. We will be pleased to include your accompanying person(s) in our social program. Please, inform us about them with your next letters. The companion's fee is 300 EUR.
We will be glad to assist you to organize your visit to Bulgaria. If you inform us about your arrival, we will meet you at the Sofia airport. If you arrive earlier or depart later than the days of travel to the conference cite, please, let us know. We could help you with hotel reservation in Sofia if you need one.
