Thank you very much for accepting to participate in the Forty Third International Workshop on Nuclear Theory IWNT43-2026.

Below please find the most important information about the Workshop.

Location
Rila Mountain is located about 70 km south from Sofia. It is the highest massif on the Balkan Peninsula (Mt. Mussala 2925 m), a national park with preserved nature.

Accommodation
The Workshop will take place in the four-stars Hotel Lion Borovets, which is located in one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots of Borovets resort, very close to the Ice Fountains and the main ski lift station. Borovets is the first and most popular international mountain resort in Bulgaria. It is located at 1300 m above sea level on the Northern slopes of Rila Mountain. Borovets is easily accessible, being only 70 km away from Sofia. It was developed into a modern high-class ski resort with luxury hotels, restaurants, entertainment spots and 50 km of ski runs providing excellent conditions for a variety of winter sports.

Weather
In early July one can expect mild and sunny days and cool nights. However, rain is not excluded.

Visa
Formal letters of invitation to help with visa applications can be sent upon request to the Organizing Committee at nthlrila@gmail.com. If you need such a letter please specify/provide all details that have to be included in the letter.

Travel
Transfer to the Workshop site: A bus transportation from Sofia to Hotel Lion Borovets is scheduled at 6.00 p.m. on Sunday, 28 June, from the parking lot in front of the former Pliska Hotel - Sofia, Blvd. "Tsarigradsko chausse" 87. The return trip to Sofia is scheduled on Saturday morning, 4 July, starting at 9.30 a.m. from Hotel Lion Borovets.
Airport transfer: The meeting point Pliska Hotel can be reached by the public transportation bus line 84 from Terminal 2 of the Airport. The trip to Pliska Hotel takes about 20-25 minutes. Tickets are available from the bus driver (in cash only). The price of the ticket is 1 EUR. Payment by contactless payment cards through the validation devices inside the bus is also possible. Alternatively, a taxi can be used.

Scientific programme
Sessions and discussions will be held mornings and afternoons from Monday (29 June) to Friday (3 July), except for Thursday (2 July) (excursion day). The length of the talks is planned to be 25 mins (including discussion). Small changes in the length are possible in dependence on the overall loading of the programme. The conference room is equipped with a beamer. WiFi internet connection is also available in the room. The schedule of the talks and posters will be distributed shortly before the beginning of the Workshop. If you plan to come later or leave the Workshop earlier please inform us by 16-th of June in order to take this into account in the programme.

Proceedings
The on-line version of the Workshop Proceedings will be published by the end of the year and we will be expecting your contributions not later than the end of September 2026. Instructions for their preparation and submission will be given after the Workshop.

Food
If you have any special food preferences (meat-eater, vegetarian, or vegan) please inform us in advance.

We will expect to receive information about your arrival and departure times. If you arrive earlier or depart later than the days of travel to the conference site, please, let us know. We could help you with a hotel reservation in Sofia, if you need one. If you need any further help to organize your visit to Bulgaria, please do not hesitate to contact us.
