Second Announcement

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you very much for your acceptance to participate in the Thirthy First International Workshop on Nuclear Theory IWNT31-2012. On the web page of the Workshop you can see the list of colleagues who have confirmed their participation. We are expecting to receive few unsent abstracts till 23-th of May in order to include them in a booklet and to organize the programme. Abstracts received after that date can not be included in the booklet.

Below please find the most important information about the Workshop:

Location
Rila Mountain is located about 70 km south from Sofia. It is the highest massif on the Balkan Peninsula (Mt. Mussala 2925 m), a national park with preserved nature.

Accomodation
The Workshop will take place in a two-star hotel in the Maljoviza region of the Rila Mountain. Address:

Internet connection in the hotel is available.

Weather
The altitude in the Maljoviza region is about 1700 m above sea level. In June one can expect mild and sunny days and cool nights. However, rain is not excluded.

Visa
Formal letters of invitation to help with visa applications will be sent upon request to the Organizing Committee at nthlrila@gmail.com.

Travel
Transfer to the Workshop site: A bus transportation from Sofia to Hotel "Divite Petli" is scheduled at 18h on Sunday, 24 June from the parking lot in front of the Pliska Hotel - Sofia, "Tsarigradsko chausse" Blvd. 87. The return trip to Sofia is scheduled on Saturday morning, 30 June, starting at 9.30 a.m. from Hotel "Divite Petli".
Airport transfer: The meeting point Pliska Hotel can be reached by the public transportation bus line 84 from Terminal 2 of the Airport. The trip to Pliska Hotel takes about 20-25 minutes. Tickets are available at the bus-stop and also from the bus driver. The price of the ticket is 1 Lew which is about 0.5 EUR. Alternatively a taxi can be used.

Registration
A workshop fee of 400EUR (280EUR for students and accompanying persons), which includes return trip from Sofia to the hotel, accommodation, 6 days full board, social program and proceedings, should be paid cash in EUR upon registration.

Scientific program
Sessions and discussions will be held mornings and afternoons from Monday 25 June to Friday 29 June, except for Thursday 28-th of June (excursion day). We plan longer talks 45 min (including discussion) and shorter talks 30 min (including discussion). Small corrections in the above lengths are possible in dependence on the overall loading of the programme. The conference room is equipped with a beamer and an overhead projector.

Proceedings
The Proceedings of the workshop will be published by the end of the year and we will be expecting your contributions not later than the end of September 2012. Instructions for their preparation and submission will be given after the Workshop.

Social program

An excursion to some historical or cultural Bulgarian site and a hiking tour are planned for Thursday, 28-th June. We will be pleased to include your accompanying person(s) in our social program.

We will expect to receive information about your arrival and departure times. If you arrive earlier or depart later than the days of travel to the conference site, please, let us know. We could help you with a hotel reservation in Sofia if you need one. If you need any furhter assitance to organize your visit to Bulgaria, please do not hesitate to contact us.
