Dear Colleagues,

Thank you very much for accepting to participate in the Thirty Fifth International Workshop on Nuclear Theory IWNT35-2016. On the web page of the Workshop you can see the list of colleagues, who have confirmed their participation. We are expecting to receive few unsent abstracts till 31-st of May in order to include them in a booklet and to organize the programme. Abstracts received after that date can not be included in the booklet.

Below please find the most important information about the Workshop.

Location
Rila Mountain is located about 70 km south from Sofia. It is the highest massif on the Balkan Peninsula (Mt. Mussala 2925 m), a national park with preserved nature.

Accomodation
The Workshop will take place in a two-stars hotel in the Maljoviza region of the Rila Mountain. Address:
Hotel "Divite Petli", 2020 Govedartzi, Sofia region, Bulgaria.
WiFi internet connection in the hotel is available, but some irregularities due to the mountain location are possible.

Weather
The altitude in the Maljoviza region is about 1700 m above sea level. In June one can expect mild and sunny days and cool nights. However, rain is not excluded.

Visa
Formal letters of invitation to help with visa applications will be sent upon request to the Organizing Committee at nthlrila@gmail.com. If you need such a letter please specify/provide all details that have to be included in the letter.

Travel
Meeting point and transfer to the Workshop site: A bus transportation from Sofia to Hotel "Divite Petli" is scheduled at 18h on Sunday, 26 June from the parking lot in front of the former Pliska Hotel - Sofia", "Tsarigradsko chausse" Blvd. 87. The return trip to Sofia is scheduled on Saturday morning, 2 July, starting at 9.30 a.m. from Hotel "Divite Petli".
Airport transfer: The meeting point Pliska Hotel can be reached by the public transportation bus line 84 from Terminal 2" of the Airport (timetable - in Bulgarian"). The trip to Pliska Hotel takes about 20-25 minutes. Tickets are available at the bus-stop and also from the bus driver. The price of the ticket is 1 Lew which is about 0.5 EUR. (In June it may be raised to 1.60 Lew.) Alternatively a taxi can be used.

Registration
The workshop fee of 400EUR (280EUR for students and accompanying persons), which includes return trip from Sofia to the hotel, accommodation, 6 days full board, social program and proceedings, should be paid cash in EUR upon registration at the opening of the Workshop. If you are student or PhD student, please inform us explicitly not later than a week before the Workshop since we have to prepare the receipts for the payment in advance.

Scientific program
Sessions and discussions will be held mornings and afternoons from Monday (27 June) to Friday (1-st of July), except for Thursday 30-th of June (excursion day). The length of the talks is planned to be 30 mins (including discussion). Small corrections in the length are possible in dependence on the overall loading of the programme. The conference room is equipped with a beamer and an overhead projector. WiFi internet connection is also available in the room.

Proceedings
The Proceedings of the Workshop will be published by the end of the year and we will be expecting your contributions not later than the end of September 2016. Instructions for their preparation and submission will be given after the Workshop.

Social program
Excursion to the city and the old town of Plovdiv and hiking tour are planned for Thursday, 30-th of June. We will be pleased to include your accompanying person(s) in our social program. For the hiking standard mountain sport equipment is recommended.

Food
If you have any special food preferences (vegetarian etc.) please inform us in advance.

We will expect to receive information about your arrival and departure times. If you arrive earlier or depart later than the days of travel to the conference site, please let us know. We could help you with a hotel reservation in Sofia if you need one. If you need any further assistance to organize your visit to Bulgaria, please do not hesitate to contact us.
